Frank Matarrese, GxP Consultant
Frank Matarrese has over twenty five years pharmaceutical and medical device experience, which includes mangement positions in manufacturing, quality assurance and regulatory compliance at Cutter Laboratories, BioRad Laboratories, Cetus Corporation and Chiron Corporation. After twelve years with Chiron Corporation, Frank started his own quality and regulatory compliance consulting firm, providing service to firms in meeting US, EU, Canadian, WHO and applicable local GMP requirements and standards (ICH, ISO). Assistance in building and implementing quality systems, auditing and startup support for new manufacturing facilities, along with compliance activities related to bringing biotechnology products from clinical to commercial distribution is also offered.
Frank earned a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), with an ASQ certification as a quality auditor and he is a PDA Biotechnology Interest Group leader.
